Assamualaikum.. siapa nak belajar idioms.. Ha! idioms ni penting tau untuk buat karangan... hehe lagi2 waktu UPSR, PBSMR.. huhu
antara idiom2 yang saya belajar swaktu darjah 6 bersama teacher yati..:
-rain cats and dogs = rain heavily
maksudnya, untuk menerangkan hujan lebat sangat..
cth ayat: Suddenly [out of blue], rain cats and dogs after recess.
-out of blue = suddenly
maksudnya, tiba-tiba..
cth ayat: Out of blue, my friend faint after drank the water
-just a stone's throw away from my house = not far from our place
maksudnya, x berapa jauh daripada tempat yang kita ada kat situ..
cth ayat: sorry..2 sy kene sambung nnti.. eh? lorat skit nih.. hehe esok nk gi jln.. nnti lah sy smbung.. OK!
